Safe, solid flooring is of course integral to any building, and unfortunately, in the old 19th century mills and warehouses, the floors are one of the first areas to rot and crumble away.
So the first step for this conversion was sorting the foundations and re-screeding the entire ground floor. And if you’ve ever been inside any Victorian-era cotton mill, you’ll know just how much floorspace that is to cover.
That meant finding a provider who could deliver large amounts of concrete in one day – with several truck loads required for both interior and exterior areas.
